COMPETITOR GUIDE

All KIDS / TEENS UNDER 18 are $45 and will only have GI divisions.
Adults will have GI and NOGI divisions as well as the NOGI Absolute.
The Adult pricing is $45 for 1 division, $55 for 2 divisions, and $65 for 3 divisions.

The spectator fees are as follows:
Under 6 years old: Free
6-12 years old: $7.00
13 and over: $10.00

The NOGI Absolute will have a cash prize for the winner.
The cash prize is unknown at this time.
This division is an open division meaning that it will combine all weights and experience levels in one divisions.
It will be submission only with 15 minute matches and no time limit for the finals.
All submissions legal in this division only.
Competitors must be 18 years or older to compete in this division.

The Peewee division is for kids age 3-6 years old and will have NO submissions allowed.
It will be for position only and will be 2 minute matches in the GI.
This division will be separated by age weight and experience level.
All kids in this division will receive a participation medal.

Kids and Teen divisions will be in the GI and will be separated by age weight and experience level.
Medals will be awarded for 1st through 3rd place and participation medals will be awarded.
Kids will have 4 minute matches.
Teens will have 5 minute matches

The adult GI divisions are separated by weight, belt and if possible age.
Medals for 1st-3rd. Match lengths will the usual for each belt level.

Adult NOGI divisions are separated by weight, experience and if possible age.
Medals for 1st-3rd. Match lengths will the usual for each experience level.
All NOGI competitors must wear Shorts and a Rashguard.

THIS IS A TOURNAMENT TO BENEFIT KIDS WITH CANCER, CONSIDER

This tournament is organized by the co-founders Brittany and Tosh Cook.

Double check your registration information on our website on the registrant list.
Make sure that all the information is correct. If there are any issues contact us immediately.
Make sure to have a clean gi or a no gi uniform in proper condition according to IBJJF rules. We will have a checker Gi.
Make sure to bring a picture ID to the event, the absence of ID can lead to DQ. Adults and Kids.
Make sure to check the schedule at our website. Failing that, schedules are posted at the event.
The athletes must keep the kimono and belt tied to the waist at all times while in the waiting or competition area.
The referees are experience martial artists and makes the final decision.
The athletes are not allowed to jump over the fences/barricades in the competition area.
Make sure to get to the event at least 45 minutes prior to your division schedule. You should be warmed up by the time your bracket is called.
At the designated time, go to the warm up area, wearing your GI and a picture ID.
The ring coordinator will be wearing a vest with the ring number for your division.
After the ring coordinator call, go to the weight in area, to check weight and have your uniform inspected.
Be respectful to the staff, officials other athletes and coaches. In turn they will show you the same courtesy.
Be respectful to the referees, showing consideration and appreciation for the performance of his or her duties.
